When MrSpeakers discontinued MrSpeakers Alpha and MrSpeakers Mad Dog headphones, they promised to deliver a variety of headphones to meet many needs and budgets. Their latest in-house designed headphone, MrSpeakers AEON Flow packs all the technology of MrSpeakers ETHER Flow headphones into a compact, comfortable and cost-effective design, delivering the best of MrSpeakers ETHER Flow sound quality at a dramatically more affordable price point. And they’re still designed and built in San Diego, California.
MrSpeakers AEON Flow open is all metal construction for durability and highest sound quality, and sports a midnight blue/black metallic paint. MrSpeakers AEON Flow open high end headphones utilizes the all the same advanced technologies found in the brand’s flagship MrSpeakers ETHER Flow headphones, and delivers them in a super comfortable headphone. They feature a dyed-through leather headband with hinge-free design.
The MrSpeakers AEON Flow open headphone sports the now familiar MrSpeakers V-Planar pleated diaphragm intended to provide more pistonic motion of the surface, and, of course, their TrueFlow waveguide claimed to reduce turbulence as air moves through the magnet assembly. Like the T50RP driver he’s use in the past, MrSpeaker’s been using variants of this driver for a while now and seems to be wringing ever more out of it with every iteration.
