The harmonic distortion of the HD 800 is so low that you might be tempted to turn the volume up too high. You get the best sound results if you listen in the medium volume range. For optimal sound, we recommend you also use a headphone amplifier.

Premiering a new mix of materials
For producing the HD 800, we vested in an innovative combination of materials that mark a global breakthrough in headphone technology and design. All synthetic components are made of materials that are used, for example, in aeronautical engineering as a substitute for high-strength metals.The ear cup and baffle are molded into a single component with an exclusively finished stainless steel weave as the hallmark of its sophistication.
Care and Maintenance with a Concept
Our concept of consistent and highly developed simplicity for the HD 800 also characterizes how to care for it.All externally visible surfaces of the headphones can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Removable parts are treated separately and reattached easily.Spend more time listening — less time cleaning.
